Day 59 June 11 2012 - Undara

We did two big walks today.  The first one was the Kalkani Crater – a 2.5 km walk around the rim of the crater.  The hardest part of this was the path to the top of the rim walk.  It took us about an hour and it was well worth doing the views were spectacular right over the top of the trees.  After lunch we went to Atkinsons’s Lookout which was a 3.8 km walk.  This was more of a challenge but once again the views over The Granites and Racecourse Hill were worth the walk.  I have to say that I would like to buy real estate from the people who measure some of these walks, it felt like it was a lot longer than 3.8 km.  Needless to say when we got back to the van we were both rather tired.

We also had a walk around the resort and had a look at some of the accommodation that is available.

Once again tonight we went down to the camp fire and it was an Australian Trivia night.  It was good fun, with a lot of silly questions and even sillier answers.
