Had a bit of a sleep in today then after breakfast we went for a big walk around the camp area. There is a weir and a jetty. We saw our first crocodile for this trip at the weir - as you can see he was a big bugger. The Leichart River is the town water supply for Normanton and it is also piped to Karumba. The Leichart Lagoon campsite is fairly large and there must be between 60 and 70 vans there most nights. We were surprised. It is $7 per person per night and there are hot showers and flushing toilets - a bit like Barn Hill. We had a quiet afternoon, we sat and read our books in the glorious sunshine.
