Left Leichart Lagoon quite early this morning and drove through to Croydon. We were here for about 10-15am. This is a really nice caravan park and quite an historic town. On the caravan park there are some beautiful Frangipani Trees, Graham cut one of the branches off and we have it in the caravan. We caught up with the washing once again - the washing machines are free so we did the bedding etc. After lunch we went for a quick walk around the town - we are going to explore a lot more tomorrow.
The General Store in the town is the longest continuously running store in Queensland, it was built in 1894. It is a long time since I have seen cans stacked on shelves the way they were in the store. The Club Hotel was built in 1889 and is the last of 36 hotels in the Croydon town.
