Although still very warm here in Cairns we have had some rain. Decided to go for a drive with Betty & David to Port Douglas. It wasn't wet in Port Douglas but it was still very overcast. We had a walk around the Sunday market. We watched a young guy riding a bike which ran a machine for getting the juice out of the sugar cane. He was working very hard and had certainly worked up a sweat. Then we bought some prawns direct of the trawler, $15 for 1.2kg. So once again we had prawns for dinner. On the way back to Cairns we called at Palm Cove, David and Betty had never been there before and were quite impressed.
