Day 84 July 6 2012 - Cairns

Well we never thought we would be cold in Cairns but today certainly was quite cold and very overcast.  We had black clouds for most of the day.  The sun did try to break through this afternoon but was not very successful.  Up to now we have not had any rain but they are forecasting rain for tomorrow.   Apart from some grocery shopping and a trip to Rusty's market in Cairns City we didn't do much else today.  The market is really good and has lots of fresh fruit and vegetables at very reasonable prices.  This morning a lady was walking round the caravan park with a really big beautiful butterfly, unfortunately it had hurt itself and she was nursing it (I don't think it would have survived).  I don't know what type of butterfly it is.
